Being Mindful

I have been thinking a lot about how fast time passes, how busy we all can become with the “stuff” that needs to be taken care of on a daily basis.

If we allow it, it can all become a bit overwhelming and demanding. It’s important to take time for yourself. A few minutes each day, a few hours in the week or maybe even one day a month. Do the things that you find are important for your body, health and mind. It can be a struggle in this day and age where information is being thrown at us from every angle – it can be a difficult task not to get pre occupied. That’s where being “mindful” comes into play. Yes, “mindful” is a buzz word nowadays but it is important to try and focus on YOU. It can be as simple as stopping what you are doing and center yourself through your breath, saying hello to someone on the street, feeling your feet connected to the ground – whatever works for you. Find what stimulates you, rocks your world, inspires you, wakes you up, allows you to dream, excites you. THINK POSSIBILITIES!!
